Book Day "Libro Libre"

International Book Day will be celebrated at GAM with a new way of exchanging books. GAM will make available to its audiences an interesting list of copies that people can obtain in exchange for a new book. In this first version, more than 500 copies will be distributed in association with La Cooperativa de Editores la Furia, an organization born under the Furia del Libro in 2015. It brings together small and medium-sized publishers, with various catalogs that include fiction, poetry, graphics, essays, children's books, etc.

Its objective is to be an alternative to the catalogs of multinational publishers and to be an interlocutor in public policies on books and reading.

The publishers that participate are Ediciones Asterión, Ediciones Overol, Emergencia Narrativa, Narrativa Punto Apart, Editorial Cuneta, Pequeño Dios Editores, Marciano Ediciones, Cuadro de Tiza Ediciones, La Calabaza del Diablo Books, Imbunche Ediciones, Mundana Ediciones, Editorial Los Perros Románticos, Ediciones OsoLiebre, Alquimia Ediciones and La Pollera Ediciones. disseminate literature written by women. Texts by Marta Brunet, Isidora Aguirre, María Luisa Bombal, María Elena Gertner, Elena Aldunate and Guadalupe Santa Cruz, among others, will be read.
