An installation called “The Book House” will be available to the public during the Book Day 2017 celebrations. There you will be able to find hundreds of literary titles to share for free through the book release mechanism, in addition to storytelling, contests, meetings with writers and a little train of books for children.

The celebrations for Book Day this year will take place for 3 days, in conjunction with The Free Library. “The Book House” will be installed, which will be available to the public with hundreds of literary titles to share for free through the book release mechanism: for each copy contributed, another can be taken (with a limit of 5 texts per person). Next to the little house there will be a “Book Train” for children, and complementary activities such as story-telling, contests and meetings with writers.


FRIDAY, APRIL 21
Intervention from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. During the day, actions will be carried out through the Libre Library and GAM social networks. 

SATURDAY, APRIL 22
Intervention from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
12 p.m.: Storytelling
4 p.m.: Meeting with… Claudia Andrade Ecchio, writer of youth literature. Latest titles: 'La Espera' and 'Maleficio'
6 p.m.: Meeting with... José Luis Flores Letelier, writer of fantasy and youth literature. Last book: Calliope. And Alejandro Salazar D'Alessandri, fantasy writer. Latest book: Chronicles of Équilas.

SUNDAY, APRIL 23
Intervention from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Contests I LIKE TO READ
6 p.m.: Meeting with... Belén Cereceda, writer of youth literature. Latest titles: 'Condemned' and 'When Winter Ends'. The conversation will be guided by the booktuber Poly Godoy.
3 to 6:30 p.m.: Book Challenge: Contests and proposals through networks, attracting contestants through challenges.  The winners, of different ages, will be eligible for book prizes.
