Audience development workshop

The workshop seeks to provide participants with theoretical and practical resources and tools to explore the development of their audiences (current and potential), so that they can expand, diversify and strengthen the relationship with their audience.

The workshop will consist of two half days that will be held at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center, on September 8 and 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

PROGRAM

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

1. Introduction to Audience Development
- What is audience development?
- What are the benefits that audience development provides?
- Why is it important to allocate time and resources towards it?
- How do audiences work?
2. Presentation of techniques to strengthen cultural audiences
3. Toolkit and set of practical tools

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

1. Putting into practice the contents of the previous day.
2. Application of tools provided to the particular cases of the participants.
3. Discussion and closure.
