Arquitectura Film Festival Santiago is a biannual 4-day festival that promotes the relationship between cinema, architecture, the city and urban life, through its film exhibition and its successful International Competition.
The festival encourages reflection on the city, architecture and the urban environment through its audiovisual content, complementing it with talks and international guests.
This year ARQFILMFEST selected 30 films for the short and feature film competition from 14 countries in America and Europe. The focus is directed towards “Urban Transformations” that portray the state of cities today and their relationship with their inhabitants.
The event was born in 2012 as the first film and architecture festival in Chile and Latin America. It already has two versions, nearly 4 thousand spectators and more than 160 films screened.
