With the visit of 20 spaces throughout Chile, the 22 rooms that make up the Network, two international exhibitors and a day open to the public, this On September 3 and 4, the third edition of the National Meeting of Theater Halls will be held; event organized by the Red Salas de Teatro that convenes spaces dedicated to this activity to dialogue and share around common challenges and opportunities.
This year there will be two presentations by international guests. Magnus Aspegren, General Director of the Riksteatern theater in Sweden, will talk about the collaborative management model of this space that has more than 40 thousand partners who are responsible for its financing through a co-ownership system; while Julieta Alfonso, Cultural Manager of Argentina, will speak on Independent Theater in Buenos Aires.
They will be joined by a panel in which theaters from Santiago and regions will present their management and programming models, the work they do and the principles that have led them to adopt different approaches regarding what it means to run a space dedicated to theater.
All these activities will be free and open to the public, and will take place at the GAM Cultural Center on September 3 with prior registration.
