The Voces GAM choir closes the year with a concert that seeks to show the work of teachers and that explores their vocal potential and the possibilities of group singing. Directed by Cecilia Pérez, they will present works from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay and Chile.

Mexico's Festival of the Dead will be celebrated with "God Never Dies" by Macedonio Alcalá and "La Calaca" by José Hernández. The Colombian Barranquilla Carnival will arrive with "La Man-gueleña" by Martina Camargo, "Me stole the dream" by Martina Camargo and "La Piragua" by José Barros. Brazil's Salvador de Bahía Carnival will be sung with "Grades do Coracao" by Gru-po Revelacao and "A Felicidade" by Tom Jobim.


From Peru, the El Carmen Black Carnival will be celebrated with “Ay! Mayoral” and "Negrito de la Guayrona" by Carlos Soto de la Colina. A Uruguayan murga will be performed from the Carnival in Montevideo. Chile will arrive with an Andean Carnival that will include "Canción Que-chua" by Pascuala Ilabaca and "América Novia Mía" by Patricio Manns.
