Starting this week, Escenix will expand its catalog with the addition of four GAM productions. The first productions of this series will be Amores de Cantina by Juan Radrigán, directed by Mariana Muñoz, and The widow of Apablaza, by Germán Luco Cruchaga, in a version by Rodrigo Pérez, which will be available starting tomorrow, Friday, April 3.
In the coming weeks, the work inspired by Violeta Parra will be added, In flight there is no farewellby Luis Barrales directed by Trinidad González; and the family production, Lucila, Gabriela's lights, by the Teatro de Ocasión company.
Until now, and 10 days after going online, the platform created by actress Patricia Rivadeneira and audiovisual producer Esteban Larraín, has more than 8,800 subscribers from Chile and abroad.
Widely praised by the public and the specialized press, Escenix debuted with nine works from recent seasons and nine works from the Ictus Company archive, to which are now added the four productions already mentioned to continue expanding in the coming weeks with dance and theater creations from national companies.
Among the titles that can be found are Xuárez by Manuela Infante and Luis Barrales; Alessandra's Iguana by Ramón Griffero; The secret obscenity of every day by Marco Antonio de la Parra; Replica of Isidora Stevenson; The Fool and the Sad by Juan Radrigán; Greta by Ximena Carrera; Pareidolia from the company La Llave Maestra, among others.
Covering genres such as drama, comedy, musical, classics, independent and family theater, the productions have been recorded with multiple cameras and in high image and audio resolution (4K, Stereo).
The platform was put online for free as a way to maintain people's connection with the performing arts and national companies after the closure of venues and theaters as a result of the health emergency, and can be accessed from the escenix.cl site, which is also available for mobile phones (iPhone and Android).

Become a true theatrical milestone of recent times with more than 30 thousand spectators and presentations in Miami (United States), Cádiz (Spain) and different cities in our country. The production received the 2011 Best Editing Award from the Art Critics Circle.
THE WIDOW OF APABLAZA
An iconic work by Germán Luco Cruchaga and considered a milestone in Chilean dramaturgy. The story of incestuous love between a widow and her “almost son” is complemented by the signs of the history and culture of Chile in the 1920s. A tragedy that transcends eras and appears as a living and profound material that enriches current theater. Distinguished as Best National Work 2016 by the Art Critics Circle, it features performances by Catalina Saavedra, Francisco Ossa, Cristián Carvajal, Jaime Leiva, Marcela Millie, Carolina Jullian, April Gregory, Guillermo Ugalde and Marco Rebolledo.
IN THE RUN THERE IS NO FAREWELL
Work that tries to enter the head of Violeta Parra, this woman who did what she wanted, although life still broke her heart. That is why the montage addresses, both the heritage of which she took charge, as a scholar, disseminator and popular creator; as in the intensity of the passions that mobilized her and the persistent edge of her ideas. The complexity of her life and her death, her heart and her head, her works and the impulses that inspired her are portrayed in a fragmented way in this GAM Production, written by Luis Barrales and directed by Trinidad González. LUCILA LUCES DE GABRIELA
A family work that tells and sings about Gabriela Mistral, with her life, creation and visions. Fourth premiere of the Teatro de Ocasión company, directed by Tita Iacobelli. The production, co-produced by GAM, follows Mistral through questions, exploring his life, work and views. He seeks to portray his humanity and the way his life impacted other lives, to follow the journey of his heart. Crafts in movement, objects, acting and live music come together in this family work that includes subtle nods to the retellings of classic stories written by Mistral. With María Fernanda Carrasco and César Espinoza.
