The project, defined as a presidential priority, considers a main hall to house nearly 1,800 people with its corresponding stage, spaces for artists, workshops, warehouses, service areas and offices for GAM staff, in an approximate area of ​​15,000 m².

With a current investment of more than 29 billion pesos, the largest work in terms of cultural infrastructure at the national level is intended for the formation of audiences, the dissemination of music, dance and theater, both nationally and internationally.

The activity was joined by the Minister of Public Works, Alberto Undurraga, and of Culture and the Arts, Ernesto Ottone.
