How have audiences changed over the years? Does the audience feel distant from the theater or the plays? With whom do cultural centers finally dialogue? These are the questions that will try to be resolved in the IV seminar on audience training - and arts marketing - that will take place between April 15 and 16 at the GAM.

Organized in conjunction with the Theater Network, the meeting seeks to bring successful international experiences to our country. Among the guests stands out Allan Brown of WolfBrown, a leading consultancy in audience research and evaluation studies for cultural and philanthropic organizations in the United States, Great Britain and Australia. There will also be Fernando Sánchez (Spain), director of Kubik Fabrik, a theater located on the outskirts of Madrid and closely linked to the avant-garde and neighborhoods. Or Kirsten Hutton (England), head of programs at Watford Palace Theatre, which has managed to become an artistic center specialized in involving audiences and communities in theatre.

The meeting will serve to present the conclusions of the Characterization Study of Theater Spaces and the analysis of the III Cultural Participation and Consumption Survey, where the Network actively participates.
