This recognition, received by the executive director of GAM, Alejandra Martí, reinforces the daily commitment to pave the path towards greater sustainability, a structural pillar of cultural institutions that guarantees the long-term viability of the sector. With this energy transformation, GAM stopped emitting a total of 198.66 tons of carbon into the atmosphere.
Imelsa Energía is the one that supplies 90% of the electrical energy consumed by GAM, the remaining 10% is generated by GAM's photovoltaic plant (solar roof). During 2024, the energy delivered by Imelsa came entirely from the Doña Igna solar plant (Melipilla, in the Metropolitan Region), a fact that we know thanks to the IREC certification.
