A chain reaction.

That was what the megafire that occurred in Valparaíso generated in the world of art, music and entertainment.

And as soon as it was known that thousands of inhabitants of the port were in trouble, various groups of artists began to organize to hold events, raise money and products to go to their aid.

The solidarity night of the theaters

But not only musicians and television faces joined together to help the victims.

On Thursday the 17th, the Theater Solidarity Night will be held, an initiative promoted by the Network of Theaters that managed to add twelve important spaces, with works that are currently in theaters. Much of what is raised during the day will directly benefit those affected.

The theaters that have joined the initiative are: Centro Mori Parque Arauco with the play "Cock"; the GAMwith "A Streetcar Named Desire", among others; the UC Lastarria Duoc Room with “I never, never”; the Bellavista Siglo XX Workshop Room with "Juan Salvador Tramoya"; the Sidarte with "Muelle Oeste"; the Teatro Camilo Henríquez with "#Jesus Christ superstar trending topic"; theCinema Theater with "Gemelos"; Facetswith "Jesus Christ Superstar"; the Teatro del Puente with “Sentimientos”; La Memoria with "Access", and UC Theater with "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

In addition, the Finis Terrae Hall will hold two performances of the musical De Simón a Pedro, on Saturday the 20th, to help the victims of the port.
