On the afternoon of Friday, June 30, Felipe Mella, Executive Director of the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center, and Cecilia García-Huidobro, Director of the Violeta Parra Museum, signed a framework collaboration agreement between both institutions in the Run Run Room of the museum.
"This is a very important year to generate a joint work agreement with the Violeta Parra Museum since it marks 100 years since the birth of the national singer-songwriter and for us as GAM it is very important to enhance what we have been developing together, specifically our programming, focused on the theme of Violeta Parra," said Mella.
The first joint action, developed within the framework of Violeta Parra's 100th birthday, is the digital campaign “Gabriela&Violeta”, developed by the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center with the sponsorship of the museum.
