Authors in cycle

To highlight artists and companies, GAM will present three author series.

Starting with the company Silencio Blanco, which will celebrate its 14 years of existence with a retrospective of its four productions: Antuco (2023), Pescador (2017), Chiflón the silence of carbon (2013) and De papel (2010). His work is distinguished by his meticulous puppet manipulation work, along with his themes that delve into jobs and characters of our cultural identity.

To commemorate its 15 years of experience, the dance company La Licuadora will stage three of its first choreographic pieces: Pantographies (2010), Turbo (2011) and Gerundio (2013). These pieces will consider the original cast, who will reread their original ideas: digitality, gender and collective present.

Finally, the choreographer Carolina Cifras will trace one of her most memorable works and premiere another. Pampa (2012) will return to the scene, a work that conceives the body as the last trench against neoliberalism. It will also premiere Conversations with the Invisible, which will try to achieve the dispossession of material things and return to practices of indigenous peoples that are based on contemplation, listening, feeling the environment and mystery.
