The objective of this workshop is to generate reading meetings, linked to oral tradition and children's literature, that allow strengthening the emotional ties between mothers and their children during early childhood (0 to 4 years).

“Arrurrú: Stories and songs” is an initiative aimed at strengthening the emotional bonds between parents and their children during early childhood (0 to 4 years) through shared stories and songs, rescuing the key role that affection and language play in the first years of life.

Two cycles of “Arrurrú: Stories and songs” will be held. One for children under 2 years old and another for parents with children between 2 and 4 years old. Each cycle invites participating parents to interact with their sons and daughters, to play with words and books, sharing songs and stories, taken from oral culture and modern album books. In each session, oral narration and reading aloud strategies will be presented and applied, which it is expected that mothers/fathers will incorporate into their daily lives within their families.
