Charles Darwin was in Chile in 1832 and 1835. On those trips he met the indigenous people of Tierra del Fuego, saw active volcanoes for the first time, observed the destruction of an 8.2° earthquake, crossed the Andes and explored the Valdivian jungle. Five scenographic dioramas recreate these defining experiences for the English naturalist with corporeal illustration.
