The traces of the poet Raúl Zurita's life were tracked, compiled and digitized by Carolina Zúñiga and Carolina Gainza, academics at the UDP Faculty of Communication and Letters. They were looking for the clues that Zurita's life has left in publicly accessible archives. Birth and death records of family members. Annotations and notes in the class book. The plan of your house in the municipal works department. The record of a book in the Conservator of Intellectual Rights. And more.
Raúl Zurita Project: public documents of private life exhibits photos, press clippings and documents obtained from 15 educational and state archives. The exhibition also includes QR codes and screens to access interview audios. The exhibition is the result of a multimedia investigation that also includes the sitedocumentospublicos.cl

How does a poet think about the archive of his work in the future? How does digital affect your work? How do you plan your future archive in digital format? Topics such as the dialogue between the analog and the digital archive, the relationship of authorship with the digital materials of their own works, the various paths and appropriations by readers that a work can take when it is on the Internet, are some of the questions that will be addressed.

"Thinking about Writing in the Digital Age"
Authors Eugenia Prado, Demian Schopf and Carlos Labbé participate.
In this discussion the forms of writing that arise from experimentation with digital technologies will be addressed. The invited authors will discuss the extended poetics that are generated in the digital age, such as hypertexts, interactive, multimedia, and algorithmic writings, among others. In these writings, essential elements of traditional literature are questioned, such as authorship, nationality, the predominance of writing, literary genres and the relationship with readers.

Guided tours
The project directors, Carolina Zúñiga and Carolina Gainza, will give guided tours explaining the research process and material collection, in addition to the multimedia design of the project, which highlights the collaborative work of different artists and researchers. Furthermore, this tour seeks for the visitor to interact with the exhibition through active listening, one of the main emphases of the project. Activity aimed at students from seventh grade to fourth grade, older adults and the general public. For a better experience, you need a phone that can connect to the Internet. Headphones will be provided.
