Exhibition that will feature 34 pieces of contemporary Mapuche textile art, made from a collective and community, introspective and autonomous research process, in the Ad Llallin workshop.
Works made with threads dyed with natural dyes from different native plants and trees, plant remains from the fair, pruning and orchards of Santiago, at different times of the year. Chañuntucos, xariwe, murals and prints, embroidery and xarikan will be exhibited, addressing topics such as food sovereignty, abortive plants, weichafe (warrior) plants and ceremonial plants.
