COARTRE open file

The visual exhibition presents the prison theater work carried out by the Corporation of Artists for Rehabilitation and Social Reintegration through Art (COARTRE), founded by the actress Jacqueline Roumeau.

Part of the history of women and men who discovered their artistic talents after experiences of confinement or lack of opportunities, who discovered theater as a tool for healing and social insertion, is exposed.

The montage, by visual artist Pablo Núñez, explores with emotion and respect the biographies of all those who have gone through the experience of being part of Coartre.
