Audiovisual project development advisory workshop

The objective is to generate and promote the creation of audiovisual projects, aimed at the development of culture and society, by advising and supporting powerful ideas with content, but weak in management and planning. This workshop will be taught by Karla Falcón, Chilean-Cuban Film and TV director from the University of Chile, with a postgraduate degree in Production from the New York Film Academy in New York.

All emerging artists with an idea that needs management support and do not have access to it may apply. Projects may be of any nature related to audiovisual; video art, fiction short film, documentary, etc.

Participants must apply with the project they want to develop through consultancy. The 10 best projects will be selected according to; Creativity of the idea, importance for current culture and society, and according to the access needs of the participants.

The consultancies will be free of cost and will have the sponsorship type support of the GAM and advisor who teaches them.

Biography of Karla Falcón
Karla Falcón is a Chilean-Cuban film and TV director from the University of Chile, with a postgraduate degree in Production from the New York Film Academy in New York. He has worked in the production of teleseries on TVN and Canal 13, such as "Mamá Mechona", "Chipe Libre" and "Aqui Mando Yo", and in live programs such as the "Festival de Antofagasta". She is the producer of the medium-length documentary "Expansión Acelerada", premiered at GAM 2017, and the documentary for VTR Vive Deportes! "Kilimanjaro Trek: A Journey of the Soul." He has produced, directed and written various short films and music videos. She is currently a producer at "Villano Producciones" where she develops film and television projects, both fiction and documentary.
